浮御堂北湖岸から。 堅田といえば、「浮御堂」が、近江八景のひとつ「堅田の落雁」として知られている。浮御堂は琵琶湖の上に浮かぶお寺で、小さな橋を渡って参拝できる。

ウィリアム・メレル･ヴォーリズによって昭和5年に建てられた堅田教会。この日は10時半から礼拝がありました。
アクセス　ＪＲ湖西線堅田駅から、江若交通（こうじゃくこうつう）・堅田町内循環バス乗車4分。堅田本町（かたたほんまち）下車。堅田小学校の方向へ徒歩数分。

The Katata church was  built by William Merrell Vories in Showa 5 (1930). There was worship from 10:30 on that day.
Access   Kojak bus  from JR Kosei Line Katata station, and Katata town loop-line bus entrainment 4 minutes. Katatahonmachi bus stop alighting. It is several on foot minutes to the direction of the Katata elementary school.
